The UPT Knowledge System is a system of knowledge constructed from UPT’s own Foundational Body of Knowledge — FBK — and developed along a unified chain of inference through three pillars: PFM — UPT Post-Formal Mathematics; PMP — UPT Postmodern Physics; and PAL — UPT Philosophy and Life.
The fundamental characteristic of UPT lies in its point of departure and its independent path of knowledge construction. UPT Postmodern Physics is not built by synthesizing, building upon, modifying, or extending any physical theories, past or present, nor does it take any pre-existing system of physics as a foundation or reference standard for constructing the theory itself. PMP is developed directly from FBK. Current mathematics is used solely as a tool to realize FBK, formalize UPT structures, carry out inference and proof, and audit those structures; at the same time, PFM develops its own mathematical structures necessary for the system as a whole.
On that foundation, UPT focuses on major open questions concerning the Universe, reality, matter, vacuum, space, time, life, Primordial Knowing, and human beings: what the origin of the Universe is, how it is structured and how it operates; what reality is; what the nature of matter, vacuum, space, and time is; whether the laws manifested at different levels can be derived from a common foundation; what life is and what laws govern its formation, maintenance, and heredity; what Primordial Knowing is; what place human beings and sentient beings occupy within reality as a whole; and what meaning life has. In mathematics and physics, UPT also directly investigates major open problems using the very knowledge system developed from FBK.

Hệ Tri Thức UPT là một hệ thống tri thức được kiến tạo từ Bộ Tri Thức Nền Tảng riêng của UPT — FBK — và phát triển theo một mạch suy diễn thống nhất qua ba trụ: PFM — Toán học Hậu Hình thức UPT; PMP — Vật lý Hậu Hiện Đại UPT; và PAL — Triết học và Sự sống UPT.
Đặc trưng căn bản của UPT nằm ở điểm khởi đầu và con đường kiến tạo tri thức độc lập. Vật lý Hậu Hiện Đại UPT không được xây dựng bằng cách tổng hợp, kế thừa, sửa đổi hay mở rộng các lý thuyết vật lý cổ kim, cũng không lấy bất kỳ hệ thống vật lý có trước nào làm nền hay chuẩn tham chiếu để kiến tạo thân lý thuyết. PMP được phát triển trực tiếp từ FBK. Toán học hiện hành chỉ được sử dụng làm công cụ để thực tại hóa FBK, hình thức hóa, suy diễn, chứng minh và kiểm toán các cấu trúc của UPT; đồng thời PFM phát triển những cấu trúc toán học riêng cần thiết cho toàn hệ thống.
Trên nền đó, UPT tập trung vào những câu hỏi lớn còn bỏ ngỏ về Vũ Trụ, thực tại, vật chất, chân-không, không gian, thời gian, sự sống, tính biết và con người: Vũ Trụ bắt nguồn từ đâu, có cấu trúc và vận hành như thế nào; thực tại là gì; vật chất, chân-không, không gian và thời gian có bản chất gì; các quy luật biểu hiện ở những cấp độ khác nhau có thể được suy ra từ một nền chung hay không; sự sống là gì, hình thành, duy trì và di truyền theo những quy luật nào; tính biết là gì; con người và các hữu tình có địa vị nào trong toàn thể thực tại; và đời sống mang ý nghĩa gì. Trong toán học và vật lý, UPT cũng trực tiếp khảo cứu những bài toán lớn còn mở bằng chính hệ tri thức được phát triển từ FBK.
